Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu paid an official visit to Ukraine in August 2019.
Following the negotiations, a number of documents were signed with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky:
- memorandum of cooperation in the field of agriculture
- an agreement to promote the study of the Hebrew language in educational institutions of Ukraine and the study of the Ukrainian language in educational institutions of the State of Israel
- the program of cooperation in the field of education, culture, youth and sports for 2019-2022
- memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and the Israeli Patent Office of the Ministry of Justice of the State of Israel
